'Bad Girls' actress had affair with Geldof

Claire King has claimed that she started a secret affair with Bob Geldof at the age of seventeen.

The Bad Girls actress revealed that Geldof cheated on late wife Paula Yates, with their secret meetings continuing throughout Paula's pregnancy with Bob's daughter Fifi Trixibelle.

King has given details of their relationship in her new autobiography, Confessions of a Bad Girl.

"There have been many people in my life, some famous, some not so famous. It's not my fault that Bob Geldof happens to be one of the most high-profile celebrities in the world," Claire told the Sunday Mirror.

"To me he was always Geldof. I would have written about him whether he was famous or not. I'm not intending to cause any trouble - but I couldn't have left him out as he was one of the biggest loves of my life."

When approached about the story, Geldof responded, "I have no recollection of a Claire King - affair my a**e. It's possible she was one of the girls I met on the road, there were so many, that I don't recall the name."
