Jennifer Aniston dad 'wants Greek man for her'

Jennifer Aniston's father has revealed that he would be happy if his daughter settled down with a Greek man.

The actress, who has been romantically linked to John Mayer, Gerard Butler, Vince Vaughn and Bradley Cooper since divorcing Brad Pitt in 2005, has become known for being unlucky in love.

Asked if he wanted Jennifer to be with a Greek man, Crete-born John replied: "Yes, I would be glad about that. But he'd have to be a good Greek man."

Asked what qualities that would entail, he added to People: "Honesty."

Aniston has previously joked that she should marry George Clooney because they are Hollywood's most famous singletons.

She said: "That would definitely shut up the world! I could call up George, say, 'Hun, let's just get hitched and have kids.' I should take George to lunch and we can figure out how to put an end to all this. Ha! Well, no."

Aniston recently claimed that the media makes up stories about her because nothing interesting happens in her life.
