Penelope Cruz 'wants to keep son anonymous'

Penelope Cruz has revealed that she wants her son Leo to grow up out of the limelight.

The 37-year-old star spoke to Vogue about her newborn baby boy, admitting that she hopes he will be able to live his life privately.

"I want my son - and my kids if I have more - to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible," Cruz said. "The fact that his father and I have chosen to do the work that we do, doesn't give anybody the right to invade our privacy."

Cruz is married to No Country for Old Men actor Javier Bardem. The two welcomed their first child in January.

Earlier this month, Cruz revealed that having her son Leo changed her life.

The actress can be seen next in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opposite Johnny Depp. The two stars recently expressed an interest in working together again.

The fourth instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise opens in cinemas in the UK on May 18 and the US on May 20.
