Taylor Swift: 'I want love to surprise me'

Taylor Swift has revealed that she isn't trying to find love as she wants to be surprised when she finds the right man.

Swift, whose relationship with Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal ended earlier this year, said that she tries not to let her relationship problems affect her outlook.

"There are no rules when it comes to love," Swift told this month's In Style magazine. "I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you're going to fall in love with."

Swift added that she doesn't look for a man who is famous or has a particular career when it comes to romance as she enjoys the prospect of the unknown.

"You never who who's going to come into your life, and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don't think about what their career is, or what they look like," Swift explained. "I picture the feeling I get when I'm with them."

The 21 year-old singer had a high-profile relationship with Joe Jonas until the end of 2008, and has also been linked to the likes of John Mayer and Twilight star Taylor Lautner.
