Kate, Pippa Middleton are 'very competitive'

Andrew Morton has revealed that he believes Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa are very competitive.

Morton, the author of William and Catherine: Their Story, spoke to Pop Eater about his new book, stating that Kate was in all likelihood shocked by the amount of press that Pippa received on the wedding day.

"I think she would have been," said Morton when asked if he thought that Kate would have been surprised by the attention that the maid of honour received. "It's amazing what a pert backside can do! It's amusing, but it's slightly misogynistic isn't it?"

Morton continued: "Just as William and Harry are very competitive, Catherine and Pippa are very competitive. The day was Catherine's day and Pippa played a significant walk-on part, that was it. I don't think she stole the show. Pippa has an exotic walk-on part."

Pippa was reportedly offered $5 million (£3.05 million) by Vivid Entertainment to appear in a porn film after she stunned the world as Kate's maid of honour.

Prince William and Kate will be travelling to Los Angeles this summer to meet some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities, including Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and John Travolta.

The royal newlyweds are currently on their honeymoon in the Seychelles.
