The celebrity couple, who already have sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, were thought to have booked a C-section at London's exclusive Portland Hospital but have now allegedly opted to welcome their fourth child in a Los Angeles medical centre on July 4.
A friend of the couple told The Sun: "It's going to be a massive family affair in America. While the date hasn't changed, it was decided an LA clinic would be best for the immediate family. Vic and David love America, its culture and her people, who have welcomed them with open arms.
"The most important thing is the health of mother and baby and things can always change last minute. But if it's possible for the baby to be born on Independence Day, Vic and David will be thrilled."
The pair are believed to be considering naming their new daughter Atlanta, but other sources previously claimed that they want to call her Santa after nearby Santa Monica.
It was recently reported that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will be the new baby's godfather.
