Brooke Mueller 'skips premiere to miss press'

Brooke Mueller has reportedly skipped the premiere of the Oxygen reality TV show she is starring in with Paris Hilton, in an attempt to avoid paparazzi and focus on her sobriety.

E! Online reports that the former actress, who is currently appearing in The World According to Paris alongside the heiress and her mother Kathy Hilton, missed the launch of the show as she continues to recover after recent stays in rehab.

In addition, a friend of Mueller's revealed that the press has been attempting to contact the 33-year-old ex-wife of Charlie Sheen in the wake of CBS's announcement that Ashton Kutcher will replace Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

The insider told the network: "Brooke has been bombarded and hiding from paparazzi since it was announced that Ashton was taking over for Charlie on the show.

"She didn't want to have to answer all those questions last night and she is staying out of the club scene."

According to the source, Mueller "doesn't care who replaced" Sheen, as long as those working on the hit comedy were not left unemployed.

"She thinks Ashton will do a good job," they added.
