Discipline-keen mums have named Gordon Ramsay as their favourite celebrity dad.
Mums thought the chef's hard-working and no-nonsense attitude more than made up for his tendency to swear.
The survey for Cartoon Network asked more than 3000 people their views. Spokesman Dominic Gardiner said: "It's fascinating to see what qualities mothers look for in an ideal father."
"Even Gordon Ramsay would admit that his language isn't always suitable for kids," he added. "But many mothers appear to think that he would have exactly the right ideas when it comes to bringing up children."
Other celebrities making the top 10 included Jonathan Ross, Jamie Oliver and Bob Geldof. Tory leader David Cameron came fifth and chancellor Gordon Brown tenth.
