'Jackass' star Steve-O for London stand-up show

Jackass star Steve-O will make his UK stand-up comedy debut this summer, it has been announced.

The star, who first began performing live comedy last year, is to bring his 'Entirely Too Much Information Tour' to London's indigO2 venue on July 7.

Detailing what fans can expect from the performance, Steve-O promised a night filled with stories of his rise to fame on the MTV series Jackass as well tales of his struggle with drug abuse.

"My stand-up comedy is based on the ridiculousness of my addiction problems, behind-the-scenes stories of Jackass, and how fame changed my life - especially my love life," he said. "I also do a variety of outrageous stunts and tricks."

The London gig will mark a homecoming of sorts for Steve-O, who was born in London and spent his childhood moving to five different countries due to his father's job as an executive for Pepsi.

Advance tickets will cost £17, with £19 seats available on the night.

Steve-O's upcoming memoir Professional Idiot will be available from June in the US and is released in August in the UK.
