The sequel to the popular 2009 comedy The Hangover is due out later this month, but star Galifianakis said that he is too embarrassed to show it to his family.
"It is so bad in parts that I told my mum she is not allowed to see it," Galifianakis told EW during yesterday's premiere. "I forbid, forbade, forbid her from coming.
"In fact, I am going to hide my head in shame around Ed [Helms'] parents too," the actor added, referring to his co-star Helms, whose parents were in attendance at the event.
Galifianakis recently admitted to Time magazine that his parents were not happy about certain scenes in The Hangover, and explained that this is why he has enforced a ban for the sequel.
Director Todd Phillips recently confirmed that he was considering making a third and final film in the series.
The Hangover: Part II will be released in cinemas on May 26.
