James Blunt has revealed that he regularly visits anti-Blunt websites, and has even thrown a virtual tomato at his own head.

The 'You're Beautiful' hitmaker was intrigued to find that UK-based website Eclectech.co.uk had created a musical game inspired by his debut hit called 'You're Gullible', where internet surfers were invited to throw tomatoes at a singing Blunt.

The game has since been taken off the website, with the site's host citing "legal threats" from the singer's record company as the reason.

However, more than one person may have been disappointed - Blunt himself revealed: "I have quite a high score on that website. I cleared over 100 points."

The star explained that he was completely prepared for the public backlash, due to the worldwide popularity of his music, especially 'You're Beautiful'. "I think it's there, it's prevalent, and so if something has put its head above the parapet, people will take a shot at it, and that's the industry in which we're in. I totally expect that."
