The 43-year-old is currently recovering after sustaining a shoulder injury while training in Austria. However, she has vowed to return to the slopes soon, despite being in a "huge amount of pain".
On her determination to win a place on the British Paralympic team for the Sochi games, Mills told Hello: "My goal is to get to Russia and to win a medal."
She continued: "The older you get, the more you realise that if you hang on in there, you can get past virtually anything. I'm not afraid of anything.
"You can't feel fear if you're going to be a good downhill skier. And I've been skiing at 120km an hour!"
Mills, who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident in 1993, previously competed in ITV skating competition Dancing on Ice.
