Alex Reid, Chantelle Houghton 'not true love yet'

Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton's alleged relationship is not serious, it has been claimed.

A source told Heat that Katie Price's ex-husband Reid and former Celebrity Big Brother star Houghton's fling is mainly physical. The couple were reportedly spotted kissing at an awards ceremony earlier this month.

"Chantelle and Alex are not serious," the source said. "They do get on well, but neither of them are under any illusion that it's going anywhere.

"While they enjoy each other's company, it's definitely more about the physical connection for them. Not to mention the fact that being spotted out together is boosting their profiles."

Another supposed friend of the pair added: "Their relationship is based on a mutual need for one another.

"Chantelle told Alex that he needs her to keep his profile up now that his divorce has come through. It's definitely not true love just yet."

Houghton's ex-boyfriend Rav Wilding this week dismissed as an "almighty stitch-up" tabloid reports suggesting that his anger and jealousy led to the couple's split.
