Kerry Katona: 'Reid, Houghton chase fame'

Kerry Katona has claimed that Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton are continuing to "chase" fame.

According to reports, Reid - who split from ex-wife Katie Price earlier this year - is dating Houghton after they were spotted kissing at an awards ceremony recently.

"I don't know her well but I think she's a bit messed up," Katona said of Houghton in her OK column. "Both Alex and Chantelle were in Big Brother and when you've had that kind of fame, you chase it a bit. They're both trying to prove that they've moved on, I reckon."

The 30-year-old reality TV star continued: "I went off Chantelle a bit when we both had fitness DVDs out and she said mine was dangerous because you lost weight so quickly, but it took me a whole year!"

A report has suggested that Reid and Houghton's relationship is mainly "physical", while both are having their profiles boosted.

It was previously claimed that Katona fears she has become "boring" after being dumped by boyfriend Dan Foden.
