Pop superstar Kylie Minogue plans to spend £1 million refitting her £3 million three-bedroom flat in Chelsea.
The 37-year-old star made the decision to give the property a makeover after her recent battle with breast cancer. A friend told The Sun: "She wanted a new look in the flat and a fresh start after the worst few months of her life."
A team of thirty builders have been working around the clock on the project, stripping the home back to its brickwork, then redesigning every room.
£100,000 worth of furniture will be in the sitting room alone, along with a £50,000 chandelier, and the wall and floor coverings totalling another £75,000.
During her treatment the singer spent most of her time in Paris and Australia, but now plans to move back to London permanently.
