The former Taxi star was hospitalised on May 11 for a possible drug overdose and eventually slipped into a coma.
Dr Drew Pinksy, who tried to help Conaway with his addictions on Celebrity Rehab, later claimed that the 60-year-old is suffering from sepsis and is in a "very tenuous" state.
Conaway's spokesperson Phil Brock has now provided an update, confirming that his client has so far showed no signs of "improvement".
"He is still unconscious, ventilated and intubated," Brock told E! News. "No improvement at all [Wednesday]."
Conaway's decision to ingest a "combination of pain killers and cold medicine" served only to mask how ill the actor truly was prior to his alleged overdose, the rep said.
"If he was not taking any medicine, he wouldn't have passed out and would have gone to a doctor or a hospital on his own. If you have been an addict, any medicine is too much, so it can be deduced that it's some type of OD," Brock added.
Conaway starred as the bad-boy Kenickie in the 1978 film musical Grease and later achieved further success portraying struggling actor Bobby Wheeler on the TV sitcom Taxi for three seasons.
His battles with substance abuse reportedly date back to the 1980s.
