Hilary Duff: 'Marriage changed my life'

Hilary Duff has revealed that marriage has made a big difference to her life.

The Bloodworth actress, who walked down the aisle with Canadian NHL player Mike Comrie almost a year ago, insisted that married life is "exciting".

She told Hollyscoop: "It's changed a lot. Being married is a different thing - it's really exciting! We spent a lot of time together this year which was nice.

"He was in Pittsburgh playing hockey so I was back-and-forth all the time. It's another year where a lot of big changes happened."

The 23-year-old said that she and Comrie have been keeping very busy.

She commented: "I wrote two books, and we're remodelling a house right now."

Duff also offered some advice to Kim Kardashian, who announced yesterday that she is engaged to basketball star Kris Humphries.

On being told the news, Duff responded: "Congratulations! Everybody told me when I got engaged to enjoy the moment and make the most of it."
