Fergie, Josh Duhamel bodyguard 'saves life'

Fergie and Josh Duhamel have branded their bodyguard "a hero" after he helped save an airplane passenger's life.

The A-list couple were travelling to Los Angeles with a member of their security personnel, identified only as Pascal, when a fellow flyer began vomiting and slipped into a seizure.

According to TMZ, Pascal helped flight attendants move the passenger into the aisle so that an onboard doctor could perform CPR, before taking him to the back of the plane where he was attached to a heart monitor.

The flight was reportedly diverted to Las Vegas and the passenger received treatment at a nearby hospital.

Discussing the incident with reporters upon their arrival at LAX, Duhamel stated: "My man Pascal saved him," while the Black Eyed Peas singer declared: "He's a hero."

Duhamel recently claimed to have "learned" from another eventful plane journey in December, where he was ejected from an US flight for refusing to turn off his Blackberry.
