Anthony Head reveals feminine side

Anthony Head has confessed that he is in touch with his feminine side.

The actor, best known for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Little Britain, is often teased about his behaviour by long-term partner Sarah Fisher.

"I love shopping for clothes and I've even done my daughters' make-up," Anthony told The Mirror. "I reckon quite a lot of men like shopping really. It's fantastic trawling Covent Garden with the girls. I'm not really into football and all that nonsense. Sarah says I'm probably gay!"

Head added that his relationship with Fisher helps him to stay "grounded".

"She tells me to 'get over myself' quite a lot," he explained. "There's nothing better than coming home to her. I might come off set with my head up my a***, but as soon as I'm back with Sarah, I'm grounded again. I wouldn't say she wears the trousers, but I probably ask for her advice more than she asks for mine."

Anthony guest-stars in tonight's episode of Doctor Who at 7.20pm on BBC One.
