Angelina Jolie's trips to Namibia could result in a tourism boom, officials claim.
The actress recently revealed that she has not ruled out giving birth in the country, explaining, "Things will be as they will be. I'm ready for anything."
Hopelong Lipinge, Namibia's ambassador in the US, said in a statement: "If she gives birth there, she will have done for our tourism sector what our tourism board budget cannot do in a year. Never before have we had so much publicity."
He added that the Namibian embassy in Washington had been "inundated with calls from the media and individuals inquiring about Namibia."
