Nick Lachey tweets wedding shower hangover

Nick Lachey has confessed that he suffered a hangover after celebrating his upcoming marriage to fiancée Vanessa Minnillo.

The couple, who announced their engagement in November 2010, held a bash at West Hollywood's London Hotel on Sunday to mark their forthcoming nuptials with their closest family and friends.

"My liver is furious with me!!" Lachey revealed via his Twitter page on Monday. "Great time last night at our wedding shower. Thanks to everyone who came out!"

The Sing-Off host recently teased that he and Minnillo had begun counting down the days to their wedding ceremony, though no official date has been announced.

Lachey and Minnillo have previously insisted that they are in no rush to tie the knot and prefer to enjoy their engagement period.

Minnillo has been in charge of making most of the decisions for the event as she fears that Lachey would turn the occasion into a "tailgate party".
