Ray Winstone has revealed that he wishes he was a football player.
The actor is currently working on comedy drama All in the Game, in which he plays a classic old-school manager of a top-flight team.
He said he his enjoying the character, but reckons the real job is much harder than it looks. "I think every football supporter thinks he's a manager," he explained. "I think I know everything about football but when it comes down to it, none of us could."
Ultimately, though, Winstone wants to get out on the pitch. He revealed: "I love to be a football manager but I'd love to be a player more than anything else."
