Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried have reportedly split up.

The pair, who allegedly broke up in February for a brief period, are said to have mutually agreed to end their relationship.

"It was mutual. They were never fully committed. There's no bad blood. They're cool," a source told Us Weekly.

According to friends, the actor and actress were never serious about their relationship.

The insider added: "They were always on and off. They were always seeing other people."

News of their separation comes shortly after Seyfried spoke of her desire to have children.

She commented: "I want children! My publicist now has two kids - I love her, so I like to think I'm an auntie to her kids. I can't wait to have my own! I think it's really exciting to know that I want them. Knock on wood, I hope I'm fertile, but I've never got pregnant before."
