Frankie Sandford has revealed that she finds it difficult to talk about her break-up with Dougie Poynter.

The Saturdays singer is now in a relationship with West Ham footballer Wayne Bridge and explained that she and Poynter have both learnt from the time they spent together.

She told Fabulous: "I find it hard to talk about, to be honest. It's been a learning curve for both of us."

The 22-year-old has received death threats on Twitter from Poynter fans following their separation.

One tweeter wrote: "I will hunt you down and kill you."

However, Sandford said that she accepts one person is always blamed in a celebrity relationship.

She added: "There's always going to be a good and a bad person in the press. It makes it more interesting. But it still bothers me."

Poynter's mother Sam Moody previously urged her son not to remain friends with Sandford, adding: "If she doesn't want to be with him that's her choice. He doesn't have to be rude to her but he doesn't have to be her friend. That's the worst thing he could ever do."
