Kylie Minogue: 'Dannii and Kris are happy'

Kylie Minogue has hit back at reports that her sister Dannii is having relationship problems with her partner Kris Smith.

Dannii and Smith, who have 11-month-old son Ethan together, were recently rumoured to have split up after various sources claimed that they were struggling to balance their family life and careers.

Kylie told the Herald Sun: "I spoke to Dannii and she said they are happy together and home now. I would like to think all the attention they are getting is because people love to see them so much and love them as a family unit. They are just concentrating on being a family.

"I saw her in the UK and her schedule is crazy like mine. I know how hard it is to see my boyfriend, but you just have to make time. It's good they are home together now."

Minogue and Smith recently released an official statement saying: "Thanks for your concern. We're happy to be back at home in Melbourne together as a family. We are committed to our relationship and Ethan as always."

He later added: "You show me a perfect relationship and I will show you a liar. Everything has its ups and downs and things do get magnified. This is something that has been just totally blown way out of proportion. Everything is fine. We are good. We are happy."
