The Harry Potter star has been a longtime supporter of the organisation, which aims to provide support and suicide prevention to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered teens and was named the recipient of the honour earlier this year.
Radcliffe will appear at the Trevor Live gala at Capitale on June 27 to collect the prize and discuss his involvement in the non-profit orgnisation's work, MTV News reports.
"It's fantastic. The fact that they think of what I've done by promoting awareness of the Trevor Project itself and the issues that it works to promote and help is a great honour," the actor said of the award.
Amy Poehler, John Larroquette, Janeane Garofolo, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos will also appear at the event along with several other stars who are yet to be announced.
David McFarland, Trevor Project CEO, added: "It is exciting to bring together so many talented individuals who support LGBTQ youth in crisis, including Trevor Hero Daniel Radcliffe.
"Together, we are all working to give LGBTQ youth in crisis a chance at a future."
Radcliffe can currently be seen as J Pierrepont Finch on Broadway in a revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.
