Trace Adkins' house destroyed in fire

Country music star Trace Adkins' family home was destroyed in a house fire this weekend.

Adkins' three children and their nanny were inside the Tennessee property when they discovered the fire, but all managed to escape unharmed.

Adkins, who hosted last year's American Country Awards, had been on tour in Alaska when the fire was discovered yesterday afternoon, while his partner Rhonda Adkins had been out running errands.

The property was completely destroyed by the fire, and it is still unknown where the fire originated.

"It's just stuff," Rhonda Adkins told Nashville's WSM-TV. "[Some of the] artifacts that had great memories, but they're just going to have to be in my mind now."

Adkins recently spoke out about his dislike for Justin Bieber's music, admitting he would rather his daughter listen to Barney the Dinosaur than to Bieber.

Adkins has yet to announce whether he plans to cancel any shows following the incident.
