Eva Mendes: 'I can't cook'

Eva Mendes has admitted that she has no domestic skills and is still unable to cook at the age of 37.

The Ghost Rider star said that she has gotten into the habit of ordering takeaways or eating out, so has never felt the need to learn how to cook her own meals.

"I open the fridge and don't know how to get from point A to point B," Mendes admitted to Bang! Showbiz. "I do want to start because I feel really pathetic - at a certain age you've got to learn how to provide for yourself.

"We get home delivery meals three times a week and we go out the rest of the time. It's so embarrassing."

Mendes explained that despite being unable to cook, she still likes having her female friends over for dinner parties.

"Some of the girls cook but I don't, I just set the ambience," she said. "My thing is flower arranging."

Mendes, who has been in a relationship with George Augusto for the past ten years, said she doesn't approve of marriage and is unsure of whether she will ever have any children.

The actress last appeared opposite Sam Worthington and Keira Knightley in the drama Last Night.
