Gavin Rossdale relives 'worst night ever'

Gavin Rossdale has described the "horrific" ordeal he and wife Gwen Stefani had to go through last week when their 2-year-old son Zuma was rushed to hospital.

Zuma suffered a broken right arm after falling off the kitchen counter at the family's Beverly Hills home on Thursday.

"It was one of those freak events. He fell. A freak accident," Rossdale tells People. "He's fine now.

"The kids are never alone, and you turn your back, and it takes a split second. It's almost worse for us.

"It was one of the worst nights of our lives," he added.

Rossdale has been married to Stefani since 2002, and the couple split their time between Beverly Hills and London.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Rossdale had signed on to play a villain in the new season of Burn Notice.
