The two actors had been picnicking in Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn when they saw an elderly man fall over and hit his head on a metal railing.
According to JustJared, Munn quickly called 911 before using their picnic blanket to tend to the man's head wound.
"The man's head was bleeding," a source claims. "So Olivia took the blanket they were sitting on in the park and applied pressure to the man's head."
Munn then managed to flag down a nearby police car to further assist the injured man.
The actress currently serves as a correspondent on The Daily Show, and has been tapped to star in Aaron Sorkin's new pilot series for HBO.
Schneider is best known for his role as Mark Brendanawicz on the NBC series Parks and Recreation, before his departure at the end of the show's second season.
