Kate Gosselin: 'Jon and I are more peaceful'

Kate Gosselin has revealed that her heated relationship with her ex-husband Jon is finally calming down.

The mother of eight spoke to People about the current state of affairs with Jon, claiming that her relationship with him has improved since the couple's very public divorce in 2009.

"It's just naturally gotten more peaceful, which is good," Gosselin said. "He's working now, which is great. He has somewhere else to put his attention, which is good."

Gosselin previously said in April that she tries to maintain a cordial relationship with Jon, declaring that she is happy to see him moving on with his life.

"The kids enjoy spending time with him," the former Dancing with the Stars contestant said of her ex-husband. "They wish he would see them more, but as long as they come home happy - and more or less they do - I'm okay with that, so that's good."

This contradicts Gosselin's claims in September 2010 that the children hate being at their father's house.

The Gosselins finalised their divorce in December 2009 after ten years of marriage.
