Nikki Reed, Paul McDonald 'looking for house'

Nikki Reed has revealed that she and boyfriend Paul McDonald have been looking to buy a house together.

The couple, who sparked speculation this weekend that they have become engaged, are searching for a home with enough space for former American Idol contestant McDonald to work on his musical pursuits.

"Paul and I want a bigger place. His music is so important to him and to me, and so I want to give him a whole separate space for it," Reed explained to People."It will be good, and it will help him be creative."

Reed and McDonald went public with their relationship in April after meeting at a Los Angeles film premiere.

McDonald has insisted that he was not aware that Reed was an actress prior to meeting her and had never seen her in the Twilight films.
