Original 'Rocky Horror' cast to reunite
Published Wednesday, May 3 2006, 02:57 BST | By David Cribb
The original cast of The Rocky Horror Show will reunite to perform for charity at London's Royal Court, marking the 50th anniversary of the theatre.
The musical was voted the most enjoyable piece of theatre ever by the venue's mailing list subscribers, and as such will stage a slightly updated version of the play.
Writer Richard O'Brien has updated the script to give it a more modern feel, but insists the style of the show will be as originally intended. He will resume his character of Riff Raff in the new version.
Guest stars already lined up to perform include West End star Michael Ball, comedian Adrian Edmondson and singer Stephen Gateley.
