The 17-year-old accepted her high school diploma from Campbell Hall Episcopal High School in North Hollywood, California on Monday, reports People.
The actress, who wore a blue cap and gown, attended the ceremony at the Walt Disney Concert Hall along with her family, including 13-year-old sister and fellow actress Elle Fanning.
Dakota was voted Homecoming Queen by the Campbell Hall student body in November 2010 and was Homecoming Princess in 2009.
She was recently confirmed to portray a teenage Princess Margaret in the upcoming film Girls' Night Out.
Elle Fanning has said that she tried to follow Dakota's career path when establishing herself as a young actress.
