Jessica Marais, Asher Keddie up for 'Cosmo' award

Australia's Cosmopolitan magazine has announced its nominations for this year's Fun Fearless Female Awards.

The fan-voted event takes place every year and honours various stars in an awards ceremony aimed purely at women.

This year, Packed to the Rafters star Jessica Marais and Offspring's Asher Keddie are among the nominees in the 'TV Actress' category. Marais landed her first role in the US in television drama The Magic City earlier this month, while Keddie was recently shortlisted for the Gold Logie award.

Musicians Sia Furler, Jessica Mauboy and Julia Stone made it into the 'Singer' category, with DJs Fifi Box, Havana Brown and Zan Rowe being nominated for the nation's best 'Radio' star.

The nominees in the 'TV Personality' section are former MasterChef contestant Poh Ling Yeow, The Farmer Wants A Wife host Natalie Gruzlewski and ex-Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch, who recently started presenting travel show High Road Low Road.

At last year's event, Jackie O was named 'Best Radio Host', Home and Away's Esther Anderson won the 'TV Actress' award, while Delta Goodrem was named as the nation's favourite singer.

In 2009, winners included Anderson again, together with her former Home and Away co-star Kate Ritchie.
