Nicole Kidman films first YouTube video

Nicole Kidman has made her first ever YouTube video.

The 43-year-old Oscar-winning Australian actress, who is best known for her roles in movies such as Rabbit Hole, The Hours and Moulin Rouge, said that she wanted to thank her fans for their "support" throughout her career.

In the video, which Kidman made on the last day of filming her latest movie with Clive Owen and Robert Duvall in San Francisco, she says: "I'm here. I've had the last day on a film that I just made called Hemingway and Gellhorn.

"This is the first time that I've ever done this for my website so... I just wanted to say hi, and wanted to thank all the fans for sticking by me through everything and for being so supportive of Rabbit Hole.

"I just hope that this is the first of a few [videos]. I'm not going to do loads of them because I'm kind of shy, but I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone. Here's to a great 2011."

As well as children Isabella and Connor from her marriage to Tom Cruise, Kidman also has daughters Sunday Rose and Faith with husband Keith Urban. She has previously spoken of her "deep relationship" with the country singer and said that she believes in the "sanctity of marriage".

Urban has also said of their union: "This foundation that I now live on was built with the two of us. It's beautiful. All I know is that the way in which it happened has turned out to be divinely inspired."
