The Australian former cricketer and chatshow host, who has lost 10kg in the past three months, said that he is struggling to resist fatty foods such as pies and chips during the last stages of his weight loss bid.
Warne wrote yesterday: "Feel like a hot pie with copious amounts of sauce with crinkle cut chips!! What's the best pie?"
He later added: "NO Shane!! 78kg is target currently 82.5. Settle on a protein shake with an apple and banana - sob."
Last month, Warne took nutritional advice on Twitter from rumoured girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley. He asked his followers if he should cook himself "pancakes" or have "cereal and fruit" for breakfast, to which the model and actress replied: "Fruit and no cereal."
She later boasted about her breakfast of egg, bacon, sausage and espressos, causing him to joke: "Checking your ankles out when I see you next - where does all that food go?"
The couple were first romantically linked last year around the time that she announced her split from husband Arun Nayar. They were recently spotted in India together and have had regular contact on Twitter.
