Megan Gale accuses paparazzi of "harassment"

Megan Gale has accused photographers of "harassment", it has been reported.

The Australian supermodel, who was announced as the new host of Project Runway earlier this year, allegedly lost her temper when paparazzi took her photograph as she left Sydney hotel Sheraton On The Park earlier this week.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Gale became so angry after photographers took her picture that she stopped her car and asked two mounted police officers to block the road.

An onlooker said: "Calling in the cops was unnecessary. There was no harassment, no danger. If she doesn't want to be pictured, why is she on TV and giving interviews to magazines? The cops actually looked a bit embarrassed by the whole incident."

Two weeks ago, sources on the Project Runway set claimed that Gale had been making "nothing but the best" demands on set. They said: "When she doesn't get exactly what she wants, she doesn't mind letting everyone know about it."

She later said that she was "surprised" at the rumours but insisted that she is a "perfectionist" and likes to "fulfil" her "commitments" and do her job "well".

Gale took over the presenting role of Project Runway when Kristy Hinze announced that she would be leaving the show.
