Ryan Giggs brother contacts wife over affair for first time?

Rhodri Giggs has reportedly contacted his wife Natasha for the first time since claims of her alleged affair with his brother Ryan broke.

A friend of Natasha told The Mirror that the 34-year-old had sent a message to his wife saying: "I can't believe this has happened."

Rhodri also apparently told Natasha that he was missing his family.

Actor Will Mellor, who was Rhodri's best man at his wedding to Natasha last year, told Daybreak yesterday that his friend was having "a horrible time" in the wake of the revelations.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan has offered his brother £250,000 on the condition that he does not share his side of the story with the media, says The Sun.

Rhodri feels "utterly betrayed" and "doesn't know what to do for the best", according to an insider.

A string of claims about Ryan Giggs's personal life have been made in the press since he was named in Parliament by Liberal Democrat MP John Hemmings as the footballer who had taken out a court injunction over an alleged affair with former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas.
