Brooke Burke 'still makes time for romance'

Brooke Burke has insisted that she and fiancé David Charvet still make time for romance despite their hectic schedules.

The Dancing with the Stars co-host confessed in an interview with Redbook that despite having four children, the couple find it important to "escape" at least once a week to focus on their own relationship.

"When I was a new mum, I used to think that life was going to be balanced, and I strived for that," Burke explained. "I gave up on the expectation that everything was going to be picture perfect.

"So maybe on Sunday night, we'll go out to dinner at a favourite Malibu restaurant. Or at home, we get the candles, the music - the whole deal - and we close the bedroom door."

Burke and Charvet are parents to 4-year-old Rain and 2-year-old Shaya. Burke is also mother to 11-year-old Neriah and 9-year-old Sierra from her previous marriage to Garth Fisher.

Burke previously confessed that she sometimes struggles with the difficulties of raising a blended family.

She has also claimed that following a regular exercise routine helps keep her sex drive high.
