Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans has bought his own pub.
Presenter John Inverdale accidentally let the information slip during the launch of this year's Sports Relief appeal.
Evans apparently buried his head in his hands and said: "I can't tell you anything about it.
"I've got a bloke who's going to manage it... It's a pub. It's not in the village where I live."
However, The Daily Mirror claims that he has bought the Mulberry Tree, an 18th century pub in Chiddingfold, Surrey. Its regulars include Anthea Turner and Sue Barker, who live in the village.
Mulberry Tree manager James Mason said: "I wondered why Chris and his pals kept popping in for a drink and asking lots of questions."
