Britney Spears not engaged to Jason Trawick

A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied recent rumours that the singer has secretly gotten engaged.

Earlier this week, a British tabloid reported that Spears's boyfriend Jason Trawick had proposed to the singer.

It was claimed that Trawick had planned a romantic proposal, which included him reading out a love poem, as well as filling the couple's home with roses and candles.

"No, Britney is not engaged," a spokesman for the singer confirmed to the Daily Mail.

Spears has previously insisted that she is open to the idea of marrying again, and has said that she has "never been happier" than she is at the moment.
