Kris Humphries 'didn't believe Kardashian affair'

Kris Humphries was reportedly unfazed by allegations that fiancée Kim Kardashian engaged in a five-month affair with New York Jets safety Brett Lockett.

Lockett previously told Life & Style that Kardashian had "pursued" him via text message even after she had begun dating Humphries.

While Lockett later confessed that he has never actually met Kardashian, he has insisted that he was telling the "complete honest truth" about their alleged relationship.

However, Humphries never believed the story and never doubted that Kardashian had indeed stayed faithful, according to a source.

"Kris knows none of it is true. He trusts and loves Kim. That's not to say he doesn't want to protect his future wife from fools talking s**t about her; he knows fighting back will just give this guy more press attention," the insider told PopEater.

"She is one of the most photographed and talked about women in America. It's not easy getting used to the amount of photographers that follow her everywhere. Most men wouldn't be able to put up with all this attention, but Kris is a special type of guy."

Kardashian's sister Khloe has described Lockett as "crazy" and "sad" while former Dancing with the Stars partner Mark Ballas questioned Kardashian's decision to respond to the claims.
