Nick Lachey "fearful" for bachelor party

Nick Lachey has joked that he is "fearful" of his upcoming bachelor party.

The Sing Off host - who announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo in November 2010 - will mark his nuptials in the upcoming weeks with a party attended by some of his oldest friends.

Lachey told Parade: "I'm fearful! But we're going to have a great time. At this point in life you don't get to see the boys as much as you used to and a lot of the friends from college and stuff have moved on and have their own families.

"This is a chance for us all to get together and tie one on and have some fun again. We're all looking forward to it."

Lachey and Minnillo recently held a wedding shower at West Hollywood's London Hotel, an occasion which saw a dance-off take place between the engaged couple.

"Well, I wouldn't call it a dance-off. I attempted to dance and she humored me. There's no competition when it comes to my dancing abilities. I didn't get that gene in the family. [Brother] Drew got that one," he said.

Lachey recently revealed that he is ready to start a family with Minnillo and wants to begin having children in the near future.
