Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband 'hits van with car'

Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt has been involved in a car accident.

The husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor was driving his Mercedes Benz in Los Angeles when he crashed into the back of a van with his vehicle on Monday afternoon, reports TMZ.

von Anhalt told the website that the collision took place after the van stopped suddenly and he was unable to hit his own brakes in time to avoid the incident.

The van's fender was damaged, though no injuries were reported as a result of the accident once police arrived on the scene.

von Anhalt, who has been caring for Gabor during her extensive health problems, recently insisted that he would never choose to let the 94-year-old die if at all possible.

He previously announced plans to auction off Gabor's fur coasts as he needs the money to maintain the couple's estate.
