Jennifer Aniston: 'I was a terrible waitress'

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she was a terrible waitress.

The Friends actress spoke to Marie Claire about the early days of her acting career, stating that she worked as a waitress in New York City to earn money.

"Later, I waited a lot of tables, and I wasn't very good at that," Aniston said. "I dropped more than one Alpine burger in customers' laps, and you just do not want all of that Swiss cheese and mushrooms in your pants. I wasn't a good waitress, but I was told that I was very nice and charming, so people liked me anyway."

Aniston went on to declare that it wasn't until she moved to Los Angeles that she began to get real acting opportunities.

"I was struggling a little in New York, working as a waitress at Jackson Hole [diner], but not really getting any consistent acting work," Aniston said. "Then I moved out here to Los Angeles, and I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn't make any decent money until I got on Friends."

Aniston is rumoured to be dating Tropic Thunder scribe Justin Theroux, with whom she has reportedly promised to be more relaxed.

The Horrible Bosses actress recently accepted the award for 'Decade Of Hotness' at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards.
