Jesse James, Kat Von D 'planning summer wedding'

Jesse James and Kat Von D will marry this summer, it has been revealed.

The couple, who announced their engagement in January 2011, will tie the knot on the one-year anniversary of when they began dating, according to James.

The news came as a response to rumours that James and Von D had called off their wedding and ended their relationship, claims that both have insisted have no basis in reality.

LA Ink star Von D told People: "That's the furthest thing from the truth."

James added: "Everything is on track. I am absolutely more in love today than I was a year ago. She's the one for me. That day can't come soon enough!"

James previously claimed that he and Von D "have something special" that he had never felt in any of his other relationships.

He has said of his fiancée: "Not only does she love me, but she loves me so much that she was willing to subject herself to everything that I was going through and [endure] all the ridicule that she got for being with me."
