Jason Sudeikis: 'I wanted Betty White date'

Jason Sudeikis has joked that he would have liked to have dated Betty White.

The Saturday Night Live comedian, who previously dated January Jones and has been linked to Jennifer Aniston, told Playboy that he feels his window of opportunity to romance White has closed.

"I think I missed my opportunity with Betty White. She got too big too soon on the second go-around," he laughed. "There was a whole chunk of time between Golden Girls and that Snickers commercial when I could've made something happen. Now I can't get near her."

Sudeikis went on to discuss his views on dating in the celebrity world, insisting that he doesn't find it as difficult as his female counterparts must do.

"I think it has less to do with me than with the ladies. Tabloids in general are more about the ladies than the fellas. There are exceptions, like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, but of the nine or so people who are usually on the covers of those magazines, seven of them are women," he said.

"I haven't seen a picture of me standing next to anyone who doesn't have an IMDB page. It doesn't matter to me if someone is in movies or on TV or not. Nice people are nice people. Pretty people are pretty people."
