Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo wedding to be televised

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's wedding is to be televised in a one-off TLC special.

The network confirmed that it has already started filming Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding, which will feature footage of the ceremony itself as well as build-up like the couple's bridal shower and Minnillo's dress search.

"We're lucky to have such passionate and loving fans, and we thought partnering with TLC on this special would be the best way to share the exciting journey we're on with all the people that support us and our relationship," the couple said in a joint statement released earlier today.

Lachey's first marriage to singer Jessica Simpson was also televised, in the MTV series Newlyweds, but sources claim that he has no qualms about saying "I do" on camera for the second time.

"Nick feels like his marriage to Jessica was so long ago," a source told Hollywood Life. "He's not letting that stop him from taping this.

"They've already started filming their wedding festivities and it's not a reality show, it's just a special."

The couple became engaged in November 2010 after dating for the past six years.

Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding will air a few weeks after the wedding sometime this summer.
