Ashlee Simpson is reportedly dating actor Vincent Piazza, after the pair were spotted kissing and holding hands in New York.

The singer, who separated from husband Pete Wentz in February, was seen with the Boardwalk Empire star while visiting a local park, according to People.

The pair were also spotted hugging and kissing at the airport before Simpson departed for Los Angeles.

Piazza stars as gangster Charles 'Lucky' Luciano in the HBO series and has previously appeared in The Sopranos and Rescue Me.

Simpson was romantically linked with musician Craig Owens in March, before being spotted holding hands with Wentz, prompting rumours of a reconciliation.
